The borough of Sayreville NJ is located on the southern bank of the Raritan River on 18.7 square miles, approximately 24 miles southwest of Lower Manhattan and 50 miles northeast of Philadelphia.

The community has a Skate Park, located in Kennedy Park, for skaters and bikers all around New Jersey, which has attracted numerous action sport competitions.
The Sayreville Public Schools serve students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
