It takes approximately 45–60 minutes to drive to New York City and Center City, Philadelphia, depending on traffic and destination within the cities.
There are two major hospitals within 6 miles, Robert Wood Johnson & Saint Peters Medical Center both in New Brunswick. Rutgers University is also about a 6 mile drive and Princeton University is about 20 miles away to the southwest. In addition the New Jersey shore area is only a half hour drive away. There you will find great beaches, entertainment, dining and much more. Somewhat further, but still close enough for a day trip, are the casinos of Atlantic City.
